While our mission is much the same, our name has changed to reflect our core constituents.

To our delight, we found that Out of Work Chicago appealed to far more than those who were unemployed. Networking is essential to everyone who wants to invest in their career: the underemployed, those on the right career path who want to advance more quickly, and people who simply want to explore all of their options.

Connect Work Chicago is dedicated to making meaningful connections between people want to make the most of their careers, one of the most vital components of life.

The past year brought about a lot of changes for Out of Work Inc. The biggest being a re-brand to Connect Work Chicago. We want you to join us in celebrating our new name, a new year and a new outlook. This event will have some of the elements of our regular networking events along with several elements to make it more of a party atmosphere. There will be hiring organizations there looking to connect with candidates, our experts will be there but will be networking in the crowd rather than sitting on the panel. We will have one hour of sponsored drinks by Pama and Hypnotiq along with delicious food provided by LaSalle Power Company and fantastic drink specials including $4 well drinks and $3 draft beers. We are so excited to be kicking off our new name, a new logo, new partners and lots of new programs in 2010!!! It’s going to be a great party and a great year – come celebrate with us!
