One of the most frequent questions I’m asked is “shouldn’t my resume be one page?” The answer is…it depends. This used to be the rule, when employees spent the majorityof their careers at one company. However, it is now perfectly acceptable to have a two, or even three page resume. The key is to make sure everything is relevant, keeping in mind where you are currently in your career. For example, an executive with 30 years experience will likely have at least a two page document. Yet, a recent college grad will almost always be one page long. There’s no set answer, other than to use your best judgement.
