There are times a job hunter finds a reference book that is worth keeping right at hand, with copious underlining and notes -- something you can't do with a library book! And don't forget an invite to a concert: right now, throughout the Chicagoland area, you can find many special holiday programs at churches and other venues that are really quite affordable. The holidays can seem kind of hollow when you're all balled up in uncertainty about your future, but beautiful music or a holiday play brings you back to the special joys and meaning of this season.
